Tuesday, February 21: PI Day is All about PI not PIE!!   (7th-12th grade educators )
5:00-8:00 pm
Non Refundable Registration Fee *: $25
Make PI day fun but concentrate on the real focus: PI not PIE. PI Day can be March 14 (3/14) or the 314th day of the year (Nov. 10, or Nov. 9 on a Leap Year). Join the fun, participating in activities centered on circles and the use of PI.  Take what you have learned back to school and offer an engaging GEOMETRY related PI Day for your entire school or just your own classroom.  The $25 non-refundable registration fee will cover 3 hours ADE approved PD credit, multiple lessons and a light dinner.

 

Tuesday, February 28 : Math in The Rain Forest (K-3rd grade educators )

Need HANDS-ON MATH LESSONS that have a connection to life in the Rain Forest? Order & logical thinking, place value, time, data, partitioning, fractions of a group, counting,  number line, and more will be included in lessons all aligned to CCSS to make great cross-curriculum connections to science, social studies, and literacy. Where is CMASE located and Where do you park?

Directions: Located in Fayetteville, AR at 346 N. West Ave. between Dickson & Lafayette Streets. It's the older 3-story red brick building across from On the Rocks. Enter from the back of the building and the Center is immediately inside the door. Main office: #202.

 

Parking:  Weekdays…FREE parking (from 6am-6pm, Monday-Friday only) in the University Baptist Activities Building lot on the south side of Lafayette. 

 

The University lots around the building are available for free parking Evenings & Weekends ONLY!
